A Little Bit About The Artist

A Statement From The Artist

I create humanoid sculptures using a range of materials to explore themes of femininity, sexuality, and power. My work plays with scale, texture, and bold, surreal color to construct hyper-feminized characters that both captivate and unsettle. These figures confront the viewer with the discomfort of objectification while reclaiming the female form through exaggeration and abstraction.Originally from Denmark, I spent much of my youth in the UAE before moving to England. This multicultural background has shaped my perspective on how women’s bodies and rights are treated across cultures. My sculptures reflect these experiences, using distorted silhouettes and exaggerated femininity to expose and critique sexualization, objectification, and misogyny.Through experimentation I distort the body to express complex emotional states such as rage or desire. My practice seeks to reclaim and reframe the female form, offering a critique of societal norms while also celebrating feminine strength and defiance.
