A Statement From The Artist
Seren Lee, the Mad Woman of Sewing Circle Pictures, is a writer, independent filmmaker, and up and coming scream queen, based in Los Angeles, CA. Do you like scary movies? And if so which ones?
Possession, Midsommar, Carrie, Suspiria (both), The Love Witch, Pearl, Rosemary's Baby, and The Substance are my favorites!

Who's your fave Final Girl and why?

This is a hard one! Most recently either Dani from Midsommar or Jen from Revenge, but who doesn't love Laurie Strode or Sydney Prescott?

What is the biggest influence in your practice?
I like to say that my "patron saints" of horror are Shirley Jackson, Anna Biller, Carmen Maria Machado, and Cassandra Peterson (Elvira). I am deeply inspired by women who allow space for their darkness, and use it to create their own path.
