A Statement From The Artist

I’m a silly person doing silly things. I’m a multidisciplinary creator that works around the themes of satire, the ordinary every day, juxtapositions, internet culture, gender and irony. I’m interested in dada and Fluxus and nonsenseness. I take societal norms and subvert them, because society is a contradiction. I like making a joke or a gag within my work. To play and tease the viewer on their ‘perception’ of what art is. The concept, narrative and atmosphere of the piece is more important to me than a fully finished outcome. I want to leave the viewer perplexed and surprised, pondering why. Why does that exist and why am I being made to look at it.
