A Little Bit About The Artist

A Statement From The Artist

This work was part of a collaborative piece with Sage Cormack, we decided to work together as we had very similar interests in our own art pieces, like our shared theme of religion. We worked to create our own mythological figure 'a Fallen Angel' in a field of snowdrops, landing from where they have fallen. I worked with digital photography and Sage with film, the reason why the angel has fallen is left up to the viewer. The costume was made from white crushed velvet mimicking the appearance of snow, taking inspiration from a 1970s nightgown which I used to help create the sense of intimacy.

What's your fave Gothic movie?

Who or what is the biggest influence in your practice?

I take a lot of inspiration from music artists like Ethel Cain.
