Even though this cemetery is well maintained, it remains beautifully intertwined with nature, creating a sense of harmony that feels profoundly organic. There is a serene peace in walking among the ancient stones and whispering trees.

Around this wall, time has left its mark, crumbling the surroundings, yet the angel remains untouched, standing gracefully amid the decay—a silent guardian of memory. Visuals of it mesmerized me.

A Little Bit About The Artist

A Statement From The Artist

Whisper of Lithos is a series inspired by a poem I wrote about a conversation between a tombstone and a newly buried person. Through this and other projects, I aim to challenge the fear of death. To me, death is as significant as birth, shaping our existence. This project explores the cyclical nature of life and death, emphasizing transformation rather than an end. It encourages a view of death as part of an eternal journey. The series includes more than four images, but due to restrictions, not all are shown. If selected, I hope to present it fully.

Do you like scary movies? And if so which ones?

Love them. Most of Hitchcock movies also The Shining is one of my favorite. My mom showed it to me when I was 10-ish and now wonders why all of my art is death-focused.

What's is your biggest influence for your practice?

To be completly haste I believe that the biggest influence for my practice is something I also do not know but feel like it is there. My art is about exploration of space, especially the one which we can not see or touch but can feel its presence.

Tell us about an exhibition that inspired you recently?

Gothic art has always influenced me and I always want to dig deeper. The exhibiton that inspired me was 'Tod und Teufel' in Kunstpalast Duesseldorf.
