A Little Bit About The Filmmaker
Do you like scary movies? And if so which ones?
I am a huge fan of horror films and horror as an art form in general. In fact, my passion for horror is one of the main reasons I decided to study film directing. I am especially focused on classic horror cinema, particularly slasher films from the 1970s and 1980s. What draws me the most to those films is their raw, practical approach, a look and feeling achieved without heavy digital effects. There is something deeply authentic about practical effects, lighting, and atmosphere that creates a unique sense of realism and immersion. That aesthetic awakens a strong sense of nostalgia in me, even though I am quite young to feel nostalgic about that era. Still, those are the films I grew up watching, and they shaped both my taste and my artistic direction.
Who or what is the biggest influence in your film making?
I believe that the biggest influence on my filmmaking is everyday life and the human condition. Those real, often raw experiences are something I shape and stylize through my own artistic approach, expressed in a horror-driven, grotesque aesthetic. Through that lens, I aim to translate ordinary human emotions and situations into something visually and emotionally intense on screen. This process can be deeply cathartic, not only for me as an artist, but also for the audience experiencing it.
