Bloodlust
Covered in dirt and blood; a protagonist is pushed too far.

A Little Bit About The Artist
A Statement From The Artist
The main focus in my photography is always the narrative. I believe storytelling is a fundamental component of being human, and as such I believe in the importance of storytelling and the power of individual interpretation. Our ability as humans to see the same thing as someone else but derive a different meaning from it based on our own personal thoughts and experiences is a kind of real life magic. That's my goal, to create magic; for myself, for the viewer, for the people involved in shooting. This world is a scary place to be, and a little magic goes a long way.
Do you like scary movies? And if so which ones?
I adore scary movies. Scream (1996) is my ultimate comfort movie, it's exciting, original and self aware, and it's laced with movie references and characters film lovers can relate to. Slasher movies are my favourite - I love seeing inventive cinematography and gory practical effects.

Who's your fave Final Girl and why?

It's a toss up between Ellen Ripley and Sidney Prescott. They're both strong, courageous and brave, just in very different situations. Their resilience and sense of justice is what I love about both of them.

What is the biggest influence in your practice?
You know that feeling when you're watching a film, and you really connect with it and something ignites within you? That's my biggest influence. Having ADHD, I'm a very emotional person, and I feel so intensely when a piece of cinema resonates with me. I've always wanted to one day create that feeling for someone else.
