A Statement From The Artist

I'm Ellie, a 31-year-old amateur artist and photographer. I recently welcomed a baby boy into my life. When I have hard moments, we take a stroll. I am incredibly fortunate to live in the beautiful countryside of Dorset - these walks are stunning and peaceful. It helps me relax, reflect and be mindful. On the flip side, I have a streak for the weird and wonderful. Especially the dark, gloomy, and disturbed. I like to invoke feelings from security to unease. My sister, April is my inspiration for this. She is wild, confident, and creative. I feature her in the submitted photo as a tribute to her artistic vision.
