Turtle Box

30 x 40 cm

Turtle Box is a creation where creatures from different dimensions gather in celebration and gratitude. The box, at the heart of the painting, symbolises change and diversity. It serves as a vessel that connects beings of all forms. This central element represents the beauty of unity through differences, expressing gratitude for the coexistence of varied life in a shared, evolving world.

A Little Bit About The Artist

A Statement From The Artist

Lihui Liang, born in Beijing, China, and now residing in London, began her artistic journey after graduating from the University of the Arts London in 2020. Her work focuses on depicting a reality she sees within people, creatures, and moments in my everyday life. Through her paintings, she created a counterreality world with strange creatures, divine animals, and enhanced humans. She would like to invite people to her world to explore their true/potential self that might have been hindered by the constraint in society.

What is your biggest influence on your practice?

]Through long-term visualisation meditation and recording my dreams, I work with colours that represent the energy vibrations of the real world. This practice reveals a true reality I experience deeply, and by tuning into it, I feel greater compassion and gratitude in my daily life.
