A Statement From The Artist
'Punk is Dead, and Plastic Never Decays' takes the form of a half-remembered nostalgic fever dream to tell a magical tale of finding who you are, of coming to understand your self and your traumas, of regrowth after decay. (For the Photography) My photography submerses itself in another world, not just showing characters but expressing their internal worlds, colourful and obscured with imperfection, some kind of dream or nightmare reaching from the photograph.
Do you like scary movies? And if so which ones?

I am a big fan of scary movies, with a special place in my heart for the weird and artistic, where beauty and horror and strangeness twirl into one. My favourite two films are Suspiria by Dario Argento and House by Nobuhiko Obayashi.

Who's your fave Final Girl and why?
Buffy has to be the final girl of all time.

What is the biggest influence in your practice?
​
A lot of weird and wonderful films from the 60s-90s (with a few more modern ones EG I Saw the Tv Glow). All of the vibrant colours, experimental visuals, intense stylization, surreality and theatrical sets are very important to me.
