A Little Bit About The Artist
A Statement From The Artist
My name is Bora Miqelle, and I am a Lithuanian costume designer and artist based in Paris. My talent in fashion design has expanded to include creating costumes for horror movies, styling and directing photo shoots, and more. Inspiration comes from my family's horrific traumas, and as I create and psychoanalyze, that's how the healing process through art begins.
Do you like scary movies? And if so which ones?

I love found footage movies such as Creep, Incantation, Blare Witch Project. The raw, low-quality footage gives a great spook of reality. It is also very inspiring for me to play with my camera and create scenes as in the movies.

Who's your fave Final Girl and why?
Beth from Hostel Part II.

What is the biggest influence in your practice?
The biggest influence on me is the psychological states in which people experience fear, anger, grief, and confusion; they are fascinating, therefore, I love creating horror art.
