A Little Bit About The Artist

A Statement From The Artist

Based in Darwen, Aaron Warris is a mixed-media artist exploring dystopian narratives through his ongoing graphic novel project The Feverlands. A graduate of Manchester School of Art (BA Hons 2:1), his work draws inspiration from graphic novels, video games, and film that depict apocalyptic worlds. Exhibitions include The Other Art Fair (in collaboration with Art on a Postcard), a solo show at Cass Art Manchester Piccadilly, and The Open Art Exhibition at HOME Manchester.

Who or what is the biggest influence in your practice?

Mainly action/horror video games, shows and movies that contain a deep narrative and an exploration of the human condition.
